Four months Overland Truck-Travel in West Africa. Mountain regions in Morocco and Guinea. Travel through parts of the Sahara and see desert crocodile in Mauritania. On the prowl to the desert elephants of Gourma and visit the northern Sahel. Make yourself a picture of famous places and regions such as Timbuktu and Dogonland. Ganvie, the stilt village on the Nokoue Lake. The Voodoo festival in Ouidah and Benin’s Atlantic coast. The people's zest for life, lively metropolitan cities and secluded villages. Overland Experience in all of this and much, much more. This trip teaches you to understand West Africa - and to love it.

An overland journey for more than 15,000 kilometres. With lots of stopovers of several days, to process what we've seen and to relax. After half of the trip, you can recuperate in the radiant sunshine on the beaches on the coast of Benin for a week, before we start on the second part of our West Africa overland tour.

This overland trip corresponds to the same sequence of trips as offered in our individual overland trips. Of course, the resting days between the individual overland trips (usually 2 - 3 days), as well as the connecting overland trip from Niamey to Cotonou is included in the price. We will not be cooking on the days of rest. But you are welcome to use the kitchen on board. Or visit one of the many local cookshops and small restaurants. We will be paying your camping fees.
