An overland journey for more than 15,000 kilometres. With lots of stopovers of
several days, to process what we've seen and to relax. After half of the
trip, you can recuperate in the radiant sunshine on the beaches on the
coast of Benin for a week, before we start on the second part of our
West Africa overland tour.
This overland trip corresponds to the same sequence of trips as offered in our
individual overland trips. Of course, the resting days between the individual overland
trips (usually 2 - 3 days), as well as the connecting overland trip from Niamey
to Cotonou is included in the price. We will not be cooking on the days
of rest. But you are welcome to use the kitchen on board. Or visit one
of the many local cookshops and small restaurants. We will be paying
your camping fees.
